A Note From Us To You...
Thank you for taking the time to view the images from our trip. Photos have been a tremendous inspiration for us to get out and see the world, and we hope the ones presented here can help inspire someone else in some small way. Photography helps us to slow down and look closer at that which is before us, giving us a greater understanding and appreciation for the world in which we live. It is the cracked paint of an old building, the shadows of a winding stairway, the laughter and tears of those around us. Photography is the last light in the passing of another day and the first light in the day that follows. It is recognizing that this exact moment in time and space is unique and that before the light passes we acknowledge just how lucky to be here we really are. Enjoy.

Any thought of setting up the photo portfolio segments on thumbnail layout pages for expanding those photos of most interest? Takes a fair amount of time to get thru the entire portfolio on the timed roll, so..
new site is different, will have to get used to the flow, previous site seemed more “homey”, new site seems a bit crisper..
look forward to the your latest updates and pictures from G-land!!
love,
Dad

Hi Guys, I love all the new pictures of the India Market. Julie, did you buy the gold bracelet? I did feel at home with the old site and a little unsettled when I first saw the new. I love your little faces peeking out. Sometimes it seemed the old site didn’t have a natural flow that invited you in deeper. Some friends I sent to visit didn’t find some of the areas. It looks like this is designed towards navigaton and a directed flow. I’ve wondered who took each picture. Kai have you thought about signatures for the photos? Of course, it’s a work in progress still. Can’t wait for the new updates. Love, Dianne

Hi, I looked around some more and concluded it’s the texture that is unsettling. I miss the warmer feel of the old site, but this moves much better. Love ya. Dianne

I keep seeing photos in the gallery box on the main page, that i don’t see in any of the four gallery albums. Are they part of albums still awaiting posting? Or just part of the main page little rotating gallery box? I get so frustrated when i see new exciting images float by and then can’t see more of them!

Hi guys.
Finally I am getting around to seeing how and what you are doing. The photos are wonderful, but I can not read the words as they are blocked out by a big black box. Oh, I can see the right about 15%, but that leaves me even more mystified! Maybe because I am still using antique Mac OS9.2? Anyway, any tips on how to get behind the box?
Your photos are lovely and you must be just having the time of your lives.

Julie—
I’m looking forward to hearing from you when you back on land.
I’ve visited your mom in her digs above Clear Lake. It was great to see her.
Roland Sr. passed away in January. Rowie has been busy until last week taking care of his father’s business. He just left for Paris for 10 days. I’m glad to see him get away.
Krissy has a lovely man in her life, Dale Fox.
We would all love to know how you are doing. Hugs, Dianne Hicks
